William "Bill" Conerly is a civil engineer, U.S. Navy veteran, and politician serving as the incumbent State Representative for Florida's 72nd House District since 2024. Prior to his election to the Florida Legislature, Conerly served on the Manatee County Planning Commission. A fifth-generation Floridian, he earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Florida. He currently resides in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, with his wife and children.
