William Joseph Yearta

William Joseph Yearta, known as Bill Yearta, is an incumbent Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 152. A businessman and a 1980 graduate of the University of Georgia, he assumed office in December 2019 and is seeking re-election in the May 2026 primary. He represents constituents in Lee, Sumter, and Worth counties. He chairs the Code Revision Committee and serves on several others, including Appropriations, Banks & Banking, and Agriculture & Consumer Affairs.
