William "Rick" Minor

Rick Minor was elected to the Leon County Board of County Commissioners for District 3 in 2018. He is a native Floridian with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. His career includes nearly a decade as a business and information technology consultant, managing the financial operations of a small business, serving as Chief of Staff to the Mayor's Office at Tallahassee's City Hall, and acting as the Chief Executive Officer of the Second Harvest of the Big Bend food bank. Under his leadership, the food bank's distribution grew by 86%. He has also taught government at Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College.
