William Valentine

William Valentine is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 2A, which encompasses parts of Washington and Frederick counties. He assumed office on January 11, 2023. Born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Valentine established an extensive career in law enforcement prior to his legislative service. His professional background includes serving as a police officer in both Thurmont and Westminster, and as a deputy sheriff in Garrett County. He also worked as an investigator for the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office. Delegate Valentine earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Frederick Community College and serves on the House Judiciary Committee.
