Will M. Callihan, Jr. is an incumbent District Court Judge. He was appointed to the bench in the former Judicial District 13 by Governor Roy Cooper in February 2021. Prior to his appointment, he was a practicing attorney and a partner at The McGougan Law Firm in Whiteville, which he joined in May 2005. His legal practice included representing the Town of Sandy Creek and the Whiteville City School Board of Education. Callihan earned his Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University and his Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law.
