Wilton Earl Simpson is an American politician and businessman serving as the 13th Florida Commissioner of Agriculture since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Florida Senate from 2012 to 2022, including a term as Senate President from 2020 to 2022. Simpson is a fifth-generation Floridian, lifelong farmer, and entrepreneur who has owned and managed a large-scale egg-laying operation. He is running for re-election as Commissioner of Agriculture in 2026.
