Dr. Xavier J. Monroe is a candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 21. An East Gainesville native, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in 2013, a master's degree from the University of Michigan in 2014, and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2022. Monroe works as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation. He has also served as a Title I Intervention Teacher and on the Alachua County Library District Board of Trustees.
