About
Rita J. Miller is a retired nursing professor and registered nurse who has been a Washington resident since 2008. She was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in June 2021 to fill a vacancy. Her educational background includes a Master's in Library Science from USC, a Master's in Nursing from Idaho State University, and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho. Before retiring, she taught nursing at Green River Community College.
