Hi, I'm Isaac, and if you've found me here, it means you're engaged about politics as much as I am!

I'm a member of the Democratic Party, serving as a my local PCO, and am an active member of the Democratic Socialists of America. I'm a firm believer in equity for all, regardless of race, gender, creed, or orientation, and feel the role of government should be to set the foundation on which it's citizens can build their lives through social safety nets, regulation of industry, and better representative democracy.

While our republic has had a good run, with it's ups and downs, over the last 250 years, I think the legislative "tech debt" we've accrued and the staleness of our system has left our government ineffective, corrupt, and unable to do more than cause confrontation in the modern world. We need a change: not just ammendments, or new laws, but at the foundational level of America. The nation our founding fathers built worked for it's time, but it's time for an update: a Great Patch if you will.

My agenda is to push us towards this Great Patch, and establish a system that not only better represents the vast population of our country, but also is prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead.

The Great Patch is not just a "I know best approach", but one that requires active discussion, collaboration, and dialogue from the public to put together, so that everyone has an equal stake in the way it's built. The core foundation of that is a proportional representative system and ranked choice voting, along with overturning the electoral college system, so that our party can move beyond the two party system and have candidates that don't just represent one side or the other, but are the most acceptable to their constitutients as a whole.
