A resident of Fort Howard, he was educated at Archbishop Curley High School, CCBC, Towson University, and Johns Hopkins University. Pappas is the owner of Chesapeake Recovery, LLC. His past experience includes serving as president of several nonprofit service organizations and as a member of advisory committees for the MDOT, historic preservation, and the environment. He has also operated a small business and has experience in lobbying for legislation at local and state levels.
