Lara Westdorp

Lara Westdorp is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland State Senate in Legislative District 4. She possesses over 25 years of public service experience at the county, state, and federal levels. Westdorp began her career as a Presidential Management Fellow at the White House Office of Management and Budget. Her professional background includes serving as Chief of Staff to a Maryland State Senator, where she was directly involved in legislative processes and constituent services. She has also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives Armed Services Committee and as a Federal lobbyist with the Laxalt Solomon group. Westdorp earned a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University.
