Abbas Alawieh is a political strategist, community organizer, and candidate for the Michigan State Senate in District 2. He previously worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Representatives Andy Levin and Rashida Tlaib, and served as chief of staff to Representative Cori Bush. Born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, he earned two degrees from the University of Michigan. Alawieh also co-founded the Uncommitted National Movement during the 2024 presidential election cycle.
