Abdur Rahman Sikder is a professor and candidate for California Lieutenant Governor in the 2026 primary election. He has been a faculty member teaching computer science at San Francisco State University since 2018. Sikder is also the founder and CEO of DrutoBooks, Vsity, and the Sikder Institute. He holds doctorates in bioinformatics from UC San Diego and computer science from the University of Sydney, as well as an MBA from Lincoln University. He is running as a Democratic candidate.
