Tal Khan Valbuena

Tal Khan Valbuena is a career Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County, where he has prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases. He currently serves in the Mental Health Court, handling cases at the intersection of mental illness, substance abuse, and public safety. Valbuena is also an adjunct professor and serves as an LGBTQ+ Commissioner for Los Angeles County. He immigrated to the United States and has stated that his experience as a juror in a case involving racial injustice inspired him to pursue a career in law.
