Adam Smith

Adam Smith is a business owner and a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served for nearly 17 years as a Green Beret with multiple global deployments. After his military career, he founded Savage Freedoms Defense, a company that provides leadership and preparedness training to veterans and civilians. Smith gained significant local recognition for organizing a large-scale volunteer relief effort, dubbed the "Redneck Air Force," in response to the devastation from Hurricane Helene in 2024. This operation mobilized hundreds of veterans and volunteers to deliver millions of pounds of supplies to isolated communities in Western North Carolina. He is a father raising his daughter in the region.
