Adrian O. Mapp is the four-term Mayor of Plainfield, New Jersey, and a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Jersey's 12th Congressional District. Born in Barbados, he migrated to the United States in 1977. Before his election as mayor in 2013, Mapp served on the Plainfield City Council and the Union County Board of Freeholders. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. in International Business, bringing decades of financial experience to his public service.
