Aisha Farooqi is an attorney and Democratic candidate running to represent Michigan's 11th Congressional District in the U.S. House. A former legal aid attorney, Farooqi previously served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. In 2025, she was appointed to the Michigan Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board.
