A businessman and former U.S. Military veteran who served in Vietnam, Williams was born in Midway, Georgia, where he maintains a district presence. He is married to Olivia and his birthday is August 2, 1947. In the legislature, he is a member of several key committees including Appropriations, Defense & Veterans Affairs, Economic Development & Tourism, Game, Fish & Parks, Regulated Industries, Rules, and Rural Development.
