Alex Szucs is a current member of the Belmont City Council. He is a Gaston County native and works as a Senior Financial Analyst for Diversey Holdings, Ltd. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Finance and Banking. Prior to his election, Szucs served as the Chairman of Belmont's Historic Preservation Advisory Board and was the treasurer for the Aberfoyle Townhomes HOA Board.
