Alexis Goldstein

Alexis Goldstein is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 6th Congressional District. A graduate of Columbia University with a degree in computer science, she worked on Wall Street for seven years as a programmer and business analyst. After leaving the financial industry, Goldstein became involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement, which led to a career focused on financial regulatory policy, consumer protection, and climate finance. She has held roles at organizations such as Americans for Financial Reform and the Open Markets Institute. Goldstein also served as a program manager at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau before announcing her candidacy.
