Ali Sajjad Taj is a candidate for Member of the State Assembly, 67th District in State Assembly District 67, California — 2026 Primary Election. Running as Democratic Party.

Ali Taj was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, and immigrated to the United States in the late 1990s. He earned bachelor's degrees in economics and political science and a master's in public administration. After initially struggling to find work, he built a career in the financial services industry, holding positions at American Express, Ameriprise Financial, and T.D. Ameritrade before starting his own investment fund. Taj was first elected to the Artesia City Council in 2013 and has served as Mayor. He also served as President of the League of California Cities.
