Allan L. Dollison was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Newport Beach. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Cal State Fullerton in 1991 and a J.D. from Western State University, College of Law in 1994. He has practiced law in California for over 29 years, completing 38 jury trials in both civil and criminal law. His experience includes handling cases such as vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and products liability, and as a prosecutor, he has tried cases involving murder, rape, and robbery. Dollison also served as a Public Defender and as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. He is a retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, having served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and is a two-time recipient of the Bronze Star. He earned a Master's Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in 2017.
