Amanda Fiedler is a Republican member of the Anne Arundel County Council, representing District 5. First elected in December 2018, she is currently serving her second term. A native of the district she represents, Fiedler is a graduate of Broadneck Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Salisbury University. Her professional background is in media and advertising. Before her election to the council, she was an active community volunteer, serving on councils at Anne Arundel Medical Center, as PTO President for Broadneck Elementary School, and as the founder of a non-profit organization supporting the Blood Donor Center at the medical center.
