Shannice Anderson

Shannice Anderson is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 41. A Baltimore native, she graduated from Bowie State University with a degree in Sociology, focusing on criminal justice reform. Anderson currently serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Maryland's Office of the Public Defender. In this role, she builds community partnerships and supports individuals transitioning from incarceration. She created the "Community Engagement Reentry Project" to provide dedicated assistance to justice-impacted individuals. Anderson also contributes to several reentry advisory boards and committees throughout Maryland, where she advocates for holistic representation and effective programs to reduce recidivism.
