Amelia Stinson-Wesley

Amelia Stinson-Wesley is a pastor, ordained in the United Methodist Church in 1992. She is a graduate of Meredith College and Duke University. She has served as the executive director of a battered women's shelter and is the founder of two nonprofits. Her public service includes being a former District 6 Board of Education representative and a member of the Pineville Town Council. She has lived in Pineville for over 17 years and has also served as a governor-appointed member of the NC Human Relations Commission and as a representative for the Towns in Mecklenburg County on the Centralina Regional Council of Governments.
