Amy Croll was first elected to the Urbandale City Council in 2022. She works for Homeward, the homelessness planning entity for Polk County, and runs her own consulting firm specializing in non-profit management. Previously, she co-founded and operated the non-profit Community Youth Concepts (CYC) from 2008-2022. Croll earned her B.A. from Luther College in 1997 and a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Iowa in 2001. She is a licensed macro-level social worker. Her volunteer work includes serving on the Urbandale Public Art Committee and the Grand View University School of Social Work Advisory Council. She and her husband, David, have lived in Urbandale since 2000 and have two college-aged children.
