Ana Luz Acevedo-Cabrera is a professor at Hartnell College, teaching at the intersection of business, technology, and entrepreneurship. A native of North Monterey County, she is an active community leader and serves on the board of the Foundation for Monterey County Free Libraries. She previously worked as a software and civil engineer. Acevedo-Cabrera holds a bachelor's degree in Geophysics and master's degrees in Earth & Planetary Science and Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley. She is running for the U.S. House to represent California's 19th Congressional District.
