Andrew Cooper has been a judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California since 2015. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2027. Before his election to the court, Cooper served as a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, including time in the Hardcore Gang Division. He also has experience as a civil and business litigator and was a retired reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 18 years. Cooper earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2000.
