Angela Gonzales-Torres

Angela Gonzales-Torres is a lifelong Angeleno and community advocate. She is the daughter of a deportee and was raised by a single mother. She works as an Advocate for Equity & Justice Academic Counselor at Pasadena City College, supporting formerly incarcerated students. She has also served as the President of the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council and as a member of Metro's Public Safety Advisory Committee. She is a graduate of UCLA where she studied as a Chicana Anthropologist.
