Angela Jackson

Angela Jackson was appointed to the Des Moines Area Community College board of trustees to serve the remaining term of a retiring board member. She is the Senior Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Athene. Previously, Jackson was an adjunct professor at DMACC's West Des Moines campus and served for nearly a decade on the Iowa Civil Rights Commission, including multiple terms as chair. She is also the owner of the Great Frame-Up in West Des Moines. As a foster parent, she has been a resource for children and has supported youth through various community and civic sponsorships.
