Angelia Edwards

Angelia Edwards has been a member of the Bridgeton Board of Education for over 22 years. She was born in Edenton, North Carolina, but has spent most of her life in Bridgeton. In addition to her long service on the school board, she has worked as a corrections officer at Southwood State Prison. Edwards is also deeply involved in the community, serving as the president of the Greater Vineland NAACP for over a decade and co-founding the non-profit Manna From Heaven with her mother in 2007, which provides meals to those in need. She is a graduate of Bridgeton High School, where she was a standout basketball player.
