She teaches 8th grade American History at Whitthorne Middle School. McClanahan earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Tennessee Technological University and a master’s degree in technology integration from Lipscomb University. She has served on the GOP State Executive Committee since 2010, contributing to both candidate recruitment and issues subcommittees. Married to Johnny McClanahan for 30 years, they have three sons: Carter, Lucas, and Westin. Her campaign prioritizes closed Tennessee primaries, adopting the National Republican platform, and upholding the U.S. Constitution, individual liberties, and small government.
