Antonio Parkinson

Antonio Parkinson, born in Oakland, California on July 14, 1969, is an incumbent Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 98 since 2011. He is seeking re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary. A four-time Tennessee Legislator of the Year, Parkinson identifies as a staunch fighter for public education and justice reform, governing as a moderate-to-conservative Democrat supportive of gun rights. He has advocated for Memphis to secede from Tennessee following redistricting, emphasizing the city's value and campaigning on safety, affordability, quality education, and affordable healthcare. He previously served as a fire station lieutenant.
