Prior to her Senate tenure, Weaver was a State Representative for District 49 from 2010 to 2020. She also held a role in the Trump Administration as the Region Four Director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Her educational background includes an associate degree in nursing, a bachelor's in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama, and an MBA.
