Becka Thompson

Becka Thompson was born and raised in Ward 12 and is a teacher by profession. She currently serves as a Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Commissioner for District 2, where she chairs the Administration and Finance Committee and also serves on the Minneapolis Planning Commission and the Audit Committee. Her background includes work as a financial analyst and mathematician. She is running for City Council with a focus on fiscal responsibility and restoring basic city services.
