Berney Flowers

Berney Flowers is a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 3rd Congressional District. He is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with nearly 21 years of active duty service, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Flowers was assigned to the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. Following his military career, he worked in banking before returning to the Department of Defense as a civil servant. In this capacity, he contributed to the establishment of U.S. Cyber Command and later served as a senior technical advisor for NORAD and U.S. Northern Command at Fort Meade. He is the author of the book "Black Values Matter" and hosts the podcast "The Loyal Opposition."
