BJ Hall is a Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 29B. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Hall has over eight years of leadership experience within St. Mary's County. His public service includes appointments to the St. Mary's County Planning Commission, the Economic Development Commission, and the Tri-County Council Workforce Development Board. Hall's community involvement includes serving as the former president of the St. Mary's County NAACP and as treasurer for the Maryland State Conference of the NAACP. He also chairs Government Relations for the 2nd District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. In 2022, Hall ran for the Republican nomination for County Commissioner President.
