Blane H. Miller, III

Blane H. Miller, III is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland State Senate in Legislative District 34. A native of Havre de Grace, Maryland, Miller served for eight years in the U.S. Navy before being honorably discharged. After his military service, he founded a construction consulting firm. His political platform centers on the sustainability of Social Security and Medicare, immigration, and abortion rights. Miller has prior campaign experience, having run for Harford County Executive and the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a self-described moderate Democrat, bringing a blend of military and business experience to his legislative candidacy in Maryland.
