Brendan Johnson is a fourth-generation Michigander serving as an Oakland County Commissioner since his election in 2022. He holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Michigan State University and a master's degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He previously served as a political analyst abroad with the State Department, a national security analyst, and as chief of staff for a state representative.
