Brian K. Lohse

Brian K. Lohse, an attorney and business owner, currently serves as a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 45. Born in Zion, Illinois, and raised in Amboy, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in social sciences from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul and a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School. Prior to his state legislative service, Lohse spent eight years on the Bondurant, Iowa city council. He champions expanding the economy, building a strong workforce, promoting family values, improving adoption and foster care services, advocating for excellence in education, and enhancing mental health and substance abuse resources. He is seeking re-election for his current position.
