Brian Summers has a 31-year career in the federal government, including roles in the White House under President George W. He has advised on legislation in the Judiciary, Foreign Relations, and Agriculture committees and served as a congressional chief of staff. His community involvement includes serving on the Iredell-Statesville Schools Task Force and the Statesville Family YMCA Board. This is his second time running for mayor, having been defeated by the incumbent in 2022.
