Brit Robinson is a Democratic Socialist, military spouse, and proud queer candidate from a biracial and multicultural family who ran for U.S. House in Florida's 4th Congressional District. She was born in 1995 at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base, California, and earned a B.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art, working in food service, retail, fine arts, design, and later as an interior designer. Her family's loss of housing after her mother became ill shaped her campaign around universal healthcare and a stronger social safety net.
