C. Anthony Muse is a Democratic politician and minister who has represented Legislative District 26 in the Maryland Senate since 2023. He previously held the same Senate seat from 2007 to 2019 and also served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1995 to 1999. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 17, 1958, Muse earned a bachelor's degree from Morgan State University. He continued his education by obtaining a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Howard University. In addition to his political service, which includes time on the Judicial Proceedings Committee, he is the founder and senior pastor of the Ark of Safety Christian Church.
