Camille Berry is a North Carolina native who has lived in the Chapel Hill area for over 20 years. She is a consultant for both for-profit and nonprofit leaders. Previously, she worked with Community Home Trust to increase affordable housing and served as executive director for Durham Central Park, Inc. As a single parent, she experienced housing, food, and transportation insecurity, which has fueled her advocacy for affordable housing. She is an alumna of Wellesley College and a past president of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise Rotary Club. She was first elected to the Town Council in 2021.
