Casius H. Pealer is an attorney and a Senior Professor of Practice at Tulane University, where he directed the real estate development programs for ten years. Originally from Florida, he earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture from Tulane. He later received a law degree from the University of Michigan. His professional background includes working as a carpenter, a taxi driver, and serving in the U.S. Peace Corps. He has extensive experience in affordable housing, having worked for a law firm specializing in the field and as Assistant General Counsel for the District of Columbia Housing Authority. Pealer has also served as president of the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO) board.
