Charles Perko

Charles Perko, a Pueblo native, earned a high school diploma from Pueblo Central High School and attended the Colorado School of Mines. With nearly fifteen years in manufacturing, he worked at a Pueblo steel mill in quality assurance and finance. He is currently President of United Steelworkers Local 3267. A strong Democrat, Perko is running for Colorado State Senate District 3 to be a "voice for Pueblo." His campaign emphasizes blue-collar, pro-worker issues, economic opportunity, poverty alleviation, and robust labor protections. He seeks to ensure state policies benefit Pueblo. Despite earlier reports, he will not appear on the Democratic primary ballot for June 30, 2026.
