Charlie Thomas "Chuck" Hasty Jr. is a retired public servant with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement. His career includes roles at Odom Correctional Institution, the Halifax County Sheriff's Office, Chief of Security at Halifax Regional Medical Center, School Resource Officer for Northampton County School System, Captain of Investigations at the Northampton County Sheriff's Office, and Police Chief for both the Roanoke Rapids and Enfield Police Departments. He earned an Associate degree in Criminal Justice Technology from Halifax Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University. Hasty currently serves on the board for Hear Our Voices, a child advocacy organization, and the Halifax County Board of Adjustments. He is a member of Victory Baptist Church and has been married to his wife, Tonya, for 15 years, with whom he has three children.
