Charlotte Crutchfield is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 19 in Montgomery County. She assumed office on January 9, 2019. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Crutchfield earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from Boston College School of Law. Her legal career included roles as an assistant state's attorney for Montgomery County and as an associate general counsel for Gulfstream Aerospace. In the legislature, she has served on the Judiciary Committee and holds the leadership position of Deputy Majority Whip. She is also a member of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland and the Women Legislators of Maryland.
