Chelsea Dimas, a 32-year-old Democrat, is running for Washington House of Representatives District 14-Position 1 in the 2026 primary. Born in Santa Ana, California, and a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, she is the daughter of Indigenous immigrants from México and the first openly Queer, Indigenous Latinx woman to run for State Representative in the new District 14. Her career includes serving as a communications specialist and Washington State Human Rights Commissioner. Dimas is a passionate advocate for farmworkers, immigrants, reproductive freedom, and the LGBTQ+ community, believing in equitable policies and diverse representation to ensure all Washingtonians thrive, and actively fights for environmental protection in Central Washington.
