Gloria Mendoza, born in Mexico, immigrated at eight and is an incumbent Washington State Representative for District 14, Position 1. A former farmworker and businesswoman, she previously served on the Grandview City Council for five years and as Grandview's first Latina mayor for five years. A graduate of Yakima Valley College, Mendoza is a Republican. She advocates conservative principles, opposing new taxes and regulations while prioritizing fiscal responsibility, good schools, safer streets, and controlling government spending and rising costs. She is running for re-election to continue working for families and children, ensuring district voices are heard in the state legislature.
